Playing the Game with Real Dice

An exciting and unique feature of Digital Diamond Baseball is the ability to play the game using actual dice. This provides the best combination of computer simulation and the classsic cards and dice approach. To play the game using dice you will need three 10-sided dice (each die should contains numbers from 0-9).

Each die must be a different color. You should pick one color to represent the hundreds column, another color to represent the tens column, and a third color for the ones column. You can purchase dice like this from a number of online gaming stores. Once you have the dice, all you have to do is set the Show roll option to Entered by user. This option can be edited using the General Options->Other menu item.

After you edit this option you are ready to play the game. Once the game starts, each time you click on Pitch/Swing you can roll the dice and enter the result. The game will lookup the correct result from the Combined Player Card and the game will proceed as usual.
